New York University

Mandy Shantyne Lopez is a graduate-trained professional writer, interdisciplinary designer, and multimodal creator working at the synthesis of human-centered storytelling, information architecture, and empathic intelligence.

Her work translates complex ideas, across culture, technology, metaphysics, and cognition, into clear, actionable, and resonant systems. Spanning fine-art publishing, immersive audio, UX and instructional design, podcast development, and applied research, her practice bridges visionary aesthetics with functional transformation.

Her original UX design project, The Aura 33, earned the

2025 NYU Best in Information Architecture + UX Design award,  distinction that affirmed what her work has always embodied: design that people feel before they can name it.

Mandy's body of work has been published and distributed across platforms including Spotify, Headphone Audio Book App, Amazon KDP, Barnes & Noble, and New York University's literary archive. In 2025, she served as a graduate researcher and presenter at the United Nations Innovation Network Lab, where she authored, designed, and delivered Human-Centered Storytelling & Empathic Communication for AI Systems, applied research exploring how narrative intelligence and cultural context improve ethical decision-making, sensemaking, and human-machine collaboration within institutional environments.

Her graduate thesis, Aura Intelligence: Conscious Collaboration, Somatic Soul, The Future of Creativity, completed with high honors, introduced a somatic-based framework for human-AI co-creation in professional writing and design. Developed at the intersection of embodied cognition, multimodal design, and ethical AI practice, it proposed that creativity expands when the body, through breath, movement, and reflective awareness, is restored as an active collaborator in the writing process. NYU School of Professional Studies recognized this contribution with the 2026 Professional Writing Impact Award for excellence in strategic communication and her commitment to humanizing AI.

Internationally, her work includes cultural and educational programs, sound exhibits, workshops, and media development in Amsterdam and Mexico, where she has collaborated with artists, educators, and organizations to design experiences that translate abstract theory into embodied understanding.

She specializes in creating mind-body-intelligence tools that strengthen IQ, EQ, and Creative Intelligence (CQ) through language, rhythm, sound, and reflective design building systems where writing becomes architecture, multimodal becomes enhanced experience, and storytelling becomes a tool of alignment.

Mandy is the creator of Mermaid Metaphysics: Tides of Truth, Love in a Golden Age, The Soul Effect, and 101 Ego Deaths: Self Mastery Audio Journal, and the founder of The Aura 33, a research-driven vision platform at the frontier of audible design, personal power, and ethical co-creation.

"I build the unseen. I write what hasn't been told. I design what people feel before they can articulate it into words."
